OUR END OF YEAR 2022 FUNDRAISER FOR CHILDREN IN HAITI

Last year we were able to raise money for the children at the orphanage in Haiti, as well as the girls at Sonje-ayiti to return to school, thanks to friends at the Stardust Ballroom, and others who participated.  Please continue your generosity this year, as those who live there are in dire need of support.  Cholera has stricken the entire country, as well as violence from gangs.  We do our best to help those who want to thrive and succeed.

You can donate online here either through our tax deductible link, paypal or gofundmepage.

Thank you for your support.

COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION LEADS TO HELPING OTHERS!

Our construction project is complete. Sustainable Orphanages was always meant to continue work in Haiti to help children have a better life. Please see our new campaign and donate for a scholarship program designed with children in mind who seek to obtain a trade or attend secondary school or university. This is so important as a next step to the full development of a Haiti that could be more than a third world country in our western hemisphere!

HAPPY NEWS!

With all the donations that have come into the orphanage, most of the construction is completed!  We have plans for solar panels, and a few other items, but the septic is complete, the interior is finished, and it is all clean and new.  There are bathrooms, with water!  These children never had this before, and this allows us to help them and others stay in a clean, safe and happy environment.  Please look below at all of our accomplishments thanks to supporters, family, friends, and most importantly, those of Matt Vecere.  Without him we could not have done all of this work.  His memory will live on here and the children know of a true hero.  For more photos and information please visit our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bourdeauj.

WORK CONTINUES: BUT TODAY WE HONOR OUR FRIEND MATT VECERE

We take this time to thank all of Matt’s friends and family, and others who have donated to get us to the point where the children have a great place to live and learn.  We thank Matt’s friend Mary, who created this video of some of the parts of his life where he gave of himself always.  Thank you.  More to come.
